Catalog description

This interdisciplinary, studio-based course introduces students to fundamental practices of art and design. Through the synthetization of drawing, painting, and design principles, the course explores formal relationships, Gestalt theory and color theory and perception with emphasis placed on connecting color, materials, and meaning. Six contact hours per week.
