Catalog description

Introduction to the field of Industrial Organizational Psychology and the careers available in the field, including both the Industrial (job analysis, recruitment, selection and assessment; performance evaluation and individual training) and organizational (maximizing organizational performance: organizational development, group and team dynamics and training, leadership and change management) sides of IO Psychology. Inclusion of ethical and legal issues that a professional will encounter and overcome, including adverse impact, discrimination, American Disabilities Act, ethical business and research practices and current ethical/legal issues in the field.
