Health Assessment

Catalog description

Corequisite: NRS 205, NRS 250, NRS 262 Introduction to the concepts and techniques of obtaining a health history, and psychosocial and physical assessment across the lifespan. Emphasis is placed on an organized and systematic health assessment examination that will provide accurate data to form a client database, initial nursing diagnosis, and plans of care. Normal assessment findings, frequently seen variations from normal, psychosocial, and cultural variations are discussed.
