Catalog description
Designed for non-accountants, a case-cased approach is used to explore the various tools and processes a manager utilizes to manage people and departments. Topics will include how to read and interpret financial statements, and how accountants measure and manage financial reporting results. Other accounting areas examined are budgeting, costing systems, analysis of variance, cost controls and capital budgeting models. Emphasis will be using various accounting tools in decision-making.
