(Junior or Senior standing required) This course will introduce the studies of Insurance and Risk Management. As to Risk Management, course participants will study risk identification, analysis, and management. Insurance will be studied from the perspective of a risk management tool and from the perspective of how insurers operate, what risks can be insured, and how the industry is regulated. Additionally, career opportunities in the insurance industry will be explored.
