Genetics Laboratory

Catalog description

Prerequisite or corequisite: BIO 301 or BIO 302 Study of transmission, molecular, and evolutionary genetics in a laboratory setting. Emphasis will be placed on genetic laboratory principles, techniques, and instrumentation as they relate to how genetic material replicates and is inherited, results in a phenotype, and can change. This laboratory experience strongly enhances and supports material in BIO 301 and BIO 302.
