Ecology and the Environment

Catalog description

(AOS students only) Study of the interrelationships among biological and physical components of ecosystems, including human impacts on the environment. Major environmental problems and responses to them by society are explored such as resource conservation with the complexity of solutions stressed. Case studies demonstrate both environmental disasters and successful or ethical approaches to problems on the part of society. This class is structured to meet the Environment requirement of PI 34.022 for Educator Licensing with WI DPI.
