Catalog description

This course researches and practices the basic principles of costume construction in a Costume Shop. Students will learn how a costume is produced in a shop and basic costume construction techniques. Students may utilize a Sewing Reference Book that will include a variety of hand and machine stitch samples. It will also include a fabric dictionary and a section on garment care as well as a section on how to take proper body measurements.
