Catalog description

This course provides an introduction into the concepts, theories, and research used to study how people think about, influence, and interact with each other. The emphasis will be on the situational, social, and interpersonal factors that affect the individual. Topics to discuss will include social judgment, self- and social-identity, attitudes, interpersonal relationships, conformity, persuasion, group influence, forensic psychology, prejudice, prosocial behavior, and aggression.
