Catalog description
This course fulfills criteria for graduate level pharmacology in an advanced practice nursing program. Advanced pharmacology focuses on the critical pharmacological and therapeutic information in the treatment of health conditions that are commonly encountered by advanced practice nurses. Emphasis is placed on understanding the decision making process necessary to safely and effectively prescribe and monitor pharmaco-therapeutics to the appropriate client. This course will prepare students for their role in everyday healthcare while introducing the latest updates on drug information.
