This course introduces students to fundamental network security principles and implementation including network security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and virtual private networks. It covers types of network attacks, network infrastructure security, Web security, operational security, security management, cryptography, and policies and procedures. In addition, it covers any recent development in network security areas.
