Catalog description
This course introduces students to the practice of interdisciplinary study and serves as a foundational course for all majors that are part of Manhattanville's Interdisciplinary Studies Program. The aim of the course is to help students develop and practice skills needed to identify, analyze, and resolve complex questions and problems in a holistic manner. By combining and integrating skills and knowledge associated with separate disciplinary fields and diverse perspectives, students will begin to develop lifelong habits of mind required for personal growth, multidisciplinary collaboration, and career success.
