Intro Org Behavior Management

Catalog description

This course examines the necessary components to conduct research on assessments and interventions based on the application of behavioral principles to individuals and groups in business, industry, government, and human service settings. Topics include formal assessment procedures, developing, testing and applying interventions, conducting a financial cost-benefit analysis, formally examining social validity of interventions, and conducting research with procedural integrity to evaluate OBM interventions. Students will learn how to select and conduct research designs often used in evaluating OBM evaluations, such as multiple-baseline designs and alternating treatment or multi-element designs.
