Catalog description

This course focuses on both the theoretical foundations and professional practice knowledge of organizational change and diffusion of innovation. Students will explore both the theoretical models of how beneficial change occurs in organizations like schools and school districts. We will also look at what happens in the real world of professional practice - at how leaders facilitate, nurture, encourage, and guide change and innovation in education and related organizations and agencies.
