Catalog description
The Community internship experiences provide substantial, sustained, standards-based opportunities for leadership candidates to apply leadership competencies in real settings. During the internship, the leadership intern is supported by the college internship supervisor and the cooperating administrator. Seminars provide an opportunity for leadership interns to discuss their experiences, to relate them to best practices and theory, and to offer support and suggestions to one another. Students will work a minimum of 100 hours in a community setting and attend seminars.
