Manhattanville University · UGRD · Fall 2026
Catalog description
Students will learn how to develop and apply statistical models to large datasets to forecast future trends, identify patterns, and make data-driven decisions. Students will be introduced to various predictive modeling techniques, including regression analysis, time series analysis, clustering, and decision trees. They will also learn how to evaluate model performance and adjust models to improve accuracy, identifying the variables that have the most predictive power. Additionally, students will explore machine learning techniques for predictive modeling and gain an understanding of the latest developments in the field. By the end of the course, students will be able to apply predictive analytics techniques to data problems, and make informed decisions based on the results of their analyses.
