In today's digital landscape, the amount of data being collected and stored is nothing short of overwhelming. In this course, students will actively examine the current status of Big Data and its unprecedented impact on the business world. Using a structured life cycle approach to data analytics problems, students will frame analytics challenges and develop a deep understanding of how to leverage Big Data to their advantage. This course emphasizes the verification of data, utilizing cutting-edge analytic techniques and open source tools to analyze data. Students will gain an in-depth knowledge of the role of regulatory organizations and the importance of maintaining data privacy and ethics.
