Catalog description

This course is an introductory study of the fundamental laws and concepts of classical and modern chemistry, including dimensional analysis, nomenclature, stoichiometry, gases, solutions, and atomic and molecular structures. It is designed to prepare students for further study in chemistry. Please note: This course does not count toward the Chemistry major or minor, but earning a C- or better in this course satisfies the pre-requisite for CHM 1001.
