Catalog description

This active learning based experience is designed to provide the student with a valuable pedagogical teaching experience via an active learning environment. In addition to learning various aspects of college teaching, the student will expand their practical knowledge on the subject material up to and including Synthesis and Evaluation according to Bloom's taxonomy. Together, the experience will leave the student with current knowledge of the subject matter as well as contemporary approaches to pedagogy and communication in the taught subject, enhancing the student's ability towards scientific thought and teaching at the undergraduate level.
