Catalog description

An overview of modern finance concepts and a survey of fundamental issues. Topics include basic finance terminology, time value of money, basic financial statement analysis, the structure and functions of financial markets and institutions, bond and stock valuation, and elementary capital budgeting. Prerequisites: ECON 203 , ECON 204 , ACCT 201 and MATH 154 (or MATH 185 and MATH 186 ).
