Catalog description
In this course, students explore various uses of technology in the classroom. Students will gain technical proficiency in using hardware and software commonly found in classrooms today and apply best practices for using these tools effectively to enhance teaching and learning. Students will develop strategies for using technology toward a wide range of teaching practices, including communication, assessment, classroom management, etc. In addition, the design and facilitation of technology-related student-centered projects and learning experiences, will be explored. Prerequisites: EDUC 201 and ( EDUC 206 or KIN 100 or KIN 213 or EDUC 318 ).
