Catalog description

A study of foundations used in computing models and simulations, including models and simulations in machine learning and cybersecurity. This includes a study of computational linear algebra (spaces, linear transformations, systems of linear equations including overdetermined systems) and applied probability (counting techniques, probability, random variables and distributions, statistical analysis). Prerequisite: A grade of C or better in CMPT-335 and MATH-185.
