Manchester University · 3.0 credits · UGRD

Though philosophy and religion communicate in different keys, both disciplines emphasize that wisdom requires a person to cultivate wonder, contrition, and humility. The course draws on the Bible and philosophical texts to explore the mystery of existence (ontology), what can be known (epistemology), philosophy of mind, personal identity, free will and determinism, reason and logic, and the question of God.
