Catalog description

A review of historic and current theories of criminal victimization and human rights violations. Topics include: an examination between victim and offender, societal treatment of victims and victimization, biological and psychological facets of trauma and recovery, and elements of restorative justice and the role of the victim in that process. Prerequisites: CRIM-110, PSYC-110, and SOC/SOWK-222.
