Provides an opportunity for observation and/or performance of techniques for chest physical assessment, medical gas administration, humidity and aerosol therapy, and bronchial hygiene in the assigned clinical setting. Clinical: 2 credits (120 contact hours).

Admission to the Respiratory Care Program is required. Some material may be delivered through Blackboard Collaborate or Microsoft Teams. The meeting pattern or method of delivery of this course may change due to room capacity. The instructor will email further instructions prior to the first day of class. Mandatory $102.99 Castlebranch fee (student responsibility) and $10 CPR Card (added to your tuition). Additional charge for Hardcode BLS online course of $34 (student responsibility). There is a $55 (student responsibility) charge annually for FIT testing. There is an up to $50 lab kit to purchase at the bookstore (student responsibility).
