Catalog description
Focuses on person-centered care of patients with advanced physiological and psychological alterations, including complications in childbearing populations. Utilizes the nursing process to develop evidence-based plans of care for patients with complex health needs. Incorporates clinical judgment in the delivery of safe, quality care to diverse populations. Lecture: 7 credit hours (105 contact hours). Laboratory/Clinical: 3 credit hours (135 contact hours).

Hybrid course that meets approximately 50% of the meetings on site and 50% online. Must be admitted to the Integrated Nursing Program. Must be taken with NIP 212 81L1. Mandatory days will be listed on the course calendar, some Fridays may be added. Some material may be delivered through Microsoft Teams. The instructor will email further instructions prior to the first day of class. A $85.88 Exam Soft fee will be added to tuition. An Evolve 360 Resource Package of $992.37 will be added to the tuition.
