Radiography Practicum I

Designed to sequentially develop, apply, critical analyze, integrate, synthesize and evaluate concepts and theories in the performance of radiologic procedures. Provides structured clinical experience through sequential competency-based assignments that focus on the upper and lower extremities, bony and visceral thorax, and abdomen. Practicum: 1 credit (90 contact hour).

Admission to the Radiography Program is required. Prereq or coreq: Bio 139. Must be taken concurrently with DMI 108. Some material may be delivered through Blackboard Collaborate or Microsoft Teams. The instructor will meet with you for further instructions prior to the first day of clinical. A Mandatory $113.20 Castlebranch fee (student responsibility) is required for background check and drug screening. All fees are non-refundable. Students must have all vaccines, drug test and background check prior to starting their clinical rotation.
