Advanced Equipment Maintenance

Catalog description
Covers industrial equipment lubrication procedures, preventative maintenance concepts, and the identification, application, and assembly of fasteners and fluid fittings. Addresses components used in advanced manufacturing equipment, including the installation of drive systems, bearings, gaskets, and seals, while introducing predictive maintenance techniques to minimize production interruptions. Lecture: 2 credits (30 contact hours). Laboratory: 2 credits (60 contact hours).
