Catalog description
Familiarizes students with the basic principles and theories involved in field crop production. Provides a limited understanding of how crops are grown as a prelude to growing crops successfully. Covers pest and pesticides as well as plant disease and protection. Lecture: 2 credits (30 contact hours). Laboratory: 1 credit (45 contact hours).
