Therapy Materials and Procedures

Catalog description

This course is a survey of materials and procedures found in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) clinical programs in public schools, hospitals, and skilled nursing facilities. Topics include record keeping, report writing, behavior modification techniques, computer assisted programs, International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA), American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), Code of Ethics, and state and national guidelines for speech therapy.
