This course is an introduction to viticultural operations. The class will include vine physiology and structure, climatic requirements, grape varieties, vineyard establishment, vineyard soils, pruning, training, irrigation, pests and diseases. Table, wine, and raisin type grapes will be covered. (A, CSU, UC)
