Beginning Guitar: Level I

This course will study classical and popular guitar playing styles, techniques, rhythms, theory, and note reading. Music is studied from a variety of historical periods and cultures. The course is designed for the general student and classroom teacher. Not intended for guitarists who read music. LIMITATION OF ENROLLMENT: Own instrument required. ADVISORIES: English 1A or 1AH AND recommended concurrent enrollment in MUS 31. (A, CSU, UC) (C-ID MUS 160)
