Catalog description

This class is the first in a two-semester series that covers Calculus I. This course is linked with a corequisite section to support students with precalculus review. Topics include limits, continuity, the definition of the derivative, and differentiation of polynomial and trigonometric functions. Together, Math 75A and Math 75B equal Math C2210 (Formerly MATH 5A (Calculus I)). PREREQUISITES: Mathematics 3A or 4B and Mathematics 4A. COREQUISITES: Mathematics 275A or 375A. ADVISORIES: English C1000 or C1000H. ANTI-REQUISITE: Not open to students with credit in MATH-C2210 (Formerly MATH-5A. (A, CSU, UC)
