This course is an introduction to kinesiology and the study of human movement. Students will be introduced to the historical background, philosophy, objectives, and content of modern physical education and kinesiology. The course will also include an overview of career opportunities in the areas of teaching, coaching, allied health, and fitness professions. (A, CSU, UC) ADVISORIES: ENGL-1A or ENGL-1AH
