Catalog description

Technology in the Hospitality Industry is designed to explore the essential role of technology in enhancing hospitality operations and guest experiences. This course covers the historical evolution and current trends in hospitality technology, with an in-depth focus on key systems such as Property Management Systems (PMS), Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools. Students will examine the impact of emerging technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), mobile applications, and social media on the industry. Emphasis is placed on data security, privacy, and the integration of new technologies to optimize business efficiency.
