Intermediate Academic Reading and Writing

Catalog description

This is an integrated reading and writing course designed for English as a Second Language (ESL) students to develop academic literacy skills at the intermediate level. Students strengthen their knowledge of academic paragraphs and develop basic essays. Students learn and apply reading and language strategies that prepare them to be independent learners. ADVISORIES: ESL 212 or 312 or placement through an approved multiple-measure process.
