This course is a study of significant voices in English literature from the early epic through the Eighteenth Century. Fiction, poetry, drama, and non-fiction will be placed into their historical and philosophical contexts. PREREQUISITES: English C1000 or C1000H (Previously ENGL-1A or ENGL-1AH) (A, Cal-GETC, CSU, UC)(C-ID ENGL 160)
