Critical Reading and Writing through Literature

Catalog description

Designed to develop critical thinking, reading, and writing skills beyond the level achieved in English 1A/1AH, English 2 will focus on the development of logical reasoning and analytical and argumentative writing skills based primarily on works of fiction and theories of literary criticism. Students will write a minimum of 6,000 words during the course. PREREQUISITES: English C1000 or C1000H. (A, Cal-GETC, CSU, UC)
