Catalog description

This course provides a basic understanding and working knowledge of the human body with emphasis on the structure of each major system intended for students planning to complete allied health programs (e.g., Nursing, RadTech, PA) or seeking a degree in Biological Science. The interrelationship between human systems and the relationships between the structure and functions of each system will be studied at several levels: cellular, tissue, organ, organ system, and organismal. PREREQUISITES: Biology 5 or Biology 11A ADVISORIES: English C1000 or English C1000H and Mathematics 103 or Mathematics 4P or Mathematics 3A or MATH-C2210 (Formerly Mathematics 5A) or equivalent (A, CALGETC, CSU, UC) (C-ID BIOL-110 B)
