Catalog description

In this lecture course, students learn the cultural significance of the arts. Instruction will cover the elements and principles of design, art media, historical movements, and methods used by artists to communicate ideas to the public. The course emphasizes the multicultural visual language and dialogue that artists create in the global artistic community. ADVISORIES: English C1000 or English C1000H.
