Applied Accounting

Catalog description

This course is designed to introduce basic accounting concepts. Emphasis will be placed on journal entries, posting to ledgers, preparing worksheets and financial statements for a sole proprietorship operating as a service or merchandising organization. The course will also teach students 10-key operations using either a 10-key calculator and/or 10-key computer keypad with emphasis on speed and accuracy. ADVISORIES: English C1000 or C1000H (A, CSU)
