Catalog description

Prerequisites: BIO202, ENG101, PSY210 Corequisites: NUR115, SPH106 or SPH107 This course teaches foundational knowledge of nursing concepts and clinical decision making to provide evidence-based nursing care. Content includes, but are not limited to, coordinator/manager of care, sexuality, reproduction and child-bearing, infection, inflammation, sensory perception, perfusion, cellular regulation, mood disorders and affect, renal fluid/electrolyte balance, and medical emergencies.
