Catalog description

Explores Jewish and Christian traditions of forgiveness and reconciliation at several levels: in the aftermath of violent conflicts, through the lens of restorative justice in communities, and in personal relationships. From war crimes to race relations to the betrayal of friends, students dive into the question of when forgiveness is owed, and to whom. Concrete cases of local, national, and global conflict are analyzed from a theological perspective. IC/IPJ
