Catalog description
Theoretical bases of acquired language disorders in the adult population. Holistic assessment and treatment focused on identifying and decreasing language barriers and the impact of aphasia on the identity and quality of life of people with aphasia and their care partners. Care for the whole person through culturally responsive practices and current trends in aphasia care in response changes in the health care environment are emphasized.
