Catalog description

Students gain knowledge and clinical skills related to methods and procedures in communication sciences and disorders (CSD). Topics include roles and responsibilities of a speech-language pathologist including prevention, assessment, and intervention specific to CSD. Practical experience related to clinical procedures and requirements (e.g., simulated case studies, direct experiences, collaborative projects) are used in instruction to promote critical thinking and problem-solving designed to develop clinical skills. <i>A field experience may be offered.</i>
