Catalog description
Explores child and adolescent communication disorders through the lens of a strength-based approach including neurodiversity. Current research findings, traditional definitions, and portrayals of disorder through pop culture are used to better understand the physical, socio-emotional, and neurological bases of communication disorders. Students engage in collaborative assignments exploring case studies to problem solve treatment solutions. <i>IHE</i>
