Catalog description
Explores feminisms as a series of overlapping political projects that move across diverse geographies and social contexts. The course combines practical case studies with feminist theory to examine topics such as feminist waves in North America, intersectionality, postcolonial feminisms, queer theory, international human rights, and the ways in which border crossings and legacies of transnational exchange are central to the history of feminisms. <i>Seminar format with limited enrollment.
