Catalog description

Examines research and theory regarding gender development. Topics include the social construction of gender, media representations of women and men, waves of feminism, intersectionality, parenting, relationships, sexual orientation, and masculinity. Students are challenged to critically evaluate research regarding sex differences using a multidisciplinary approach. <i>IG</i>
