An introduction to the nature and practice of health psychology. Topics include the roles of diet, exercise, stress, smoking, weight, and environmental pollutants in health and disease. Focuses on the role of self-responsibility in health care as well as nontraditional approaches to medicine. <i>Fulfills social science core and Group VI requirement. IHE</i>
