Psychology of Personality

Catalog description

Familiarizes students with key theoretical approaches to the study of personality in psychology. Includes a variety of different theoretical perspectives such as psychodynamic, trait, and humanistic approaches, as well as current research relevant to each approach. Both structure and development of personality are examined. Students learn to distinguish and integrate different theoretical approaches and to apply these approaches in understanding human behavior. <i>Fulfills social science core and Group V requirement.
